Abstract

Ilicifolius Acanthus Linn. is one derived from medicinal plants familia Acanthaceae are known to contain

flavonoids, but not yet known about the classes and types of flavonoid compounds contained in these plants. Based on this, then do research about ilicifolius Acanthus Linn., With the aim to know the classes and types of flavonoid compounds contained in these plants. Our research methods include the collection and provision of materials, phytochemical screening, the preliminary investigation of flavonoid, flavonoid isolation and identification of isolates using the method of ultraviolet-visible light. Results of phytochemical screening of crude drugs and known in the powder in n-butanol phase of methanol extracts of leaves contained daruju flavonoids, saponins, tannins, steroids and coumarins. The results of identification of flavonoid compounds suspected of classes and types are as follows flavonoidnya NB-III isolates suspected of flavonol compounds with hydroxyl group on the 3,5,7,8 positions and clusters prenil oxygenation in position 6. IV isolates suspected of flavonol compounds with hydroxyl group at positions 3, 5, 7, prenil group at position 6 and O -ring diOH B. NB-VI isolates suspected of flavanone compounds with hydroxyl group at position O-diOH in ring A and 6.7 o7.8 in OH.

Abstract

 

 

 

 

 

The leaves of Anredera cordifolia (Ten)Steenis is Indonesian herb that famous for  medicinal activity. Qualitatif phytochemical screening using standard laboratory procedure was carried out for flavonoid, saponine, steroid/triterpenoid and coumarine. Brine shrimp letha lity bioassay of methanol, n- hexane, ethyl acetate and n-butanol extracts of the leaves showed these extracts were moderately cytotoxic. The LC50  using Probit analysis method for methanol, n-hexane, ethyl acetate and n-butanol extracts were 50,77; 1481,84; 29,63; and 60,8 g/ml respectively. Based on the result, ethyl acetate extracts was fractionated by VLC using gradient elution with dichloromethane-isopropanol and methanol. Its combination  gave 10 fractions and it was screened by Brine shrimp Test. Six  of the ten fractions showed significant toxicity to the brine shrimp ( < 5 g/ml) which are the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 7th, 9th and

10th fraction.

This Study concluded that ethyl acetate extracts maybe contain bioactive compound of potential therapeutic.

ABSTRAK

Berdasarkan  literatur dan penelitian yang telah dilakukan diketahui beberaspesie tanaman familia Basellaceae yaitu Anredera scandens (L.) MoqBasella rubra Linn. atau Basella alba Linn atau Basella cordifolia Lamk, Anredera cordifolia  (Ten.) Steenis diketahui mengandung senyawflavonoid. Namun belum ada data mengenai golongan dan jenis senyawa flavonoid yang terkandung dalam spesies tanaman tersebut. Hal ini mungkidisebabkan masih terbatasnya penelitian mengenai tanaman tersebut. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, maka dilakukan penelitian terhadap salah satu spesiedari Basellaceae yaitu Anredera cordifolia  (Ten.) Steenis. Penelitian yang dilakukan bertujuan untuk mengetahui golongan dan jenis senyawflavonoid yang terkandung dalam salah satu spesies Basellaceae yaitu tanaman anredera cordifolia (Ten.) Steenis. Tahapan penelitian yang dilakukameliputi pengumpulan dan penyediaan bahan, penapisan fitokimia, pemeriksaan pendahuluan senyawa flavonoid, isolasi golongan s enyawa flavonoid dan identifikasi isolat menggunakan metode spektrofotometri ultraviolet-cahaya tampak. Hasil penapisan fitokimia diketahui dalam fase n-butanodari ekstrak metanol daun binahong terkandung senyawa flavonoid, saponin, triterpenoid, kumarin dan kuinon. Hasil penelitian identifikasi senyawflavonoid  diduga golongan dan jenis senyawa flavonoidnya adalah sebagai berikut isolat NB VII diduga adalah senyawa flavonol dengan gugus Opada posisi 3, 5, 7, 4 dan terdapat O-diOH  pada cincin A (6,7) atau (7,8) serta terdapat oksigenasi pada 6 atau 8. Isolat NB-VIII diduga adalasenyawa flavon dengan gugus OH  pada 5, 7, 4 dengan gugus prenil pada posisi 6 serta terdapat gugus O-diOH pada cincin A (6,7) atau (7,8sedangkan Isolat NB-IX diduga adalah senyawa flavonol (3-Op [PDF File] didownload : 39 x

ABSTRAK

 

Kurkumin   adala sala satu   anggota   kelompok   senyawa   kurkuminoid   dan merupakan senyawa penciri (marker) pada tanaman suku zingiberaceae. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui kadar kurkumin dalam ekstrak etanol secara Kromatografi Lapis Tipis (KLT) -Densitometri dan   aktivitas antioksidan ekstrak etanol dari rimpang temu putih, temu mangga dan temu lawak terhadap 1,1-difenil-2- pikrilhidrazil (DPPH). Hasil penapisan fitokimia  serbuk rimpang simplisia diperoleh pada rimpamg temu putih, temu mangga, temu lawak terdapat golongan senyawa flavonoid, saponin, terpenoid, minyak atsiri. Kadar kurkumin pada ekstrak etanol rimpang temu putih sebesar 0,10%, temu mangga sebesar 0,19% dan temu lawak sebesar  0,51%.  Hasil  uji  aktivitas  antioksidan  dengan  metode  metode  DPPH diperoleh nilai IC50 dari ekstrak etanol rimpang temu mangga sebesar 233,18 g/mL, temu putih sebesar 99,19 g/mL,  temu lawak sebesar 31,57 g/mL dan vitamin C sebaga kontrol   positif   sebesa 4,84   g/mL Kada kurkumin   da aktivitas antioksidan  terhadaDPPH paling tinggi  diperoleh  pada ekstrak  etanol  rimpang temu lawak.

Abstract

 

Binahong (Anredera cordifolia (Ten.) Steenis) is one of the plant which is use generally for treatment of illness but no more research that explain about its chemical compound and efficacy. In this research had been done isolation and identification of adenin in ethylacetate phase from methanol extract of that binahongs leaves. Isolation doing by thin layer chromatography (TLC), was fractionated by vaccum liquid chromatography (VLC) using CH2CL2, isopropanol and methanol of increasing polarity as eluents , and column chromatography (CC). Isolate was purified by HPLC preparative.

The chemical structure of isolate was identified by UV-Vis spectrophotometre, IR spectrophotometer, GC-MS, 1H NMR and 13C NMR. The result of datas analyses from UV-Vis, IR, GC-MS and NMR spectrum showed that isolate which had been identified adenin.
