ABSTRAK

 

Brokoli merupakan tanaman yang banyak dikonsumsi sebagai sayuran dan juga bermanfaat sebagai antioksidan. Diduga senyawa yang berkhasiat sebagai antiosidan adalah flavonoid. Penelitian ini dimulai dengan skrining fitokimia terhadap serbuk bunga brokoli, ekstraksi serbuk buanga brokoli dengan menggunakan metanol, partisi ekstrak kental metanol, pemeriksaan pendahuluan senyaw flavonoi dalam   fase n-butanol, isolasi    senyawa       golongan    flavonoid  secara  kromatografi  kertas  preparatif  dan identifikasi isolat menggunakan metode spektrofotometri ultraviolet-cahaya tampak. Skrinin fitokimi terhadap   serbu bung brokoli   menunjukkan   adany senyawa flavonoid,   saponin,   tanin,   steroi dan   kumarin Berdasarkan   hasi identifikasi menggunakan spektrofotometer ultraviolet-cahaya tampak dengan penambahan pereaksigeserdalamfase n-butanol dari ekstrak metanol bunga brokoli bahwa isolate

NB-I diduga adalah senyawa flavonol dengan gugus OH pada posisi 3,5, dan gugus prenil pada posisi 6 serta gugus o-diOH pada posisi 7,8. Sedangkan isolat NB-III diduga adalah

senyawa isoflavon dengan gugus o-diOHpada posisi 6,7 atau 7,8.

Binahongs leaves (Anredera cordifolia Ten.) Steenis) traditionally used to treat many degenerative diseases such as, anti-diabetic, prevents strokes, anti-hepatotoxic, analgesic, anti- inflammatory and treatment of fractures. One cause of degenerative diseases is free radical in which the negative effects of free radicals can be inhibited by an antioxidant. The research studied the antioxidant activity of extracts binahongs leaf (Anredera cordifolia Ten) Steenis). Binahong leaf  extracted with  methanol solvent and  then  partitioned witseveral solvent n- hexane, ethyl acetate, and n-buthanol. Extracts were tested with the reagent 2,2-Diphenyl-1- picrilhydrazil (DPPH). From  the results of  the partition showed the most active extracts as antioxidants was ethyl acetate extract with IC50 values 66.80 ppm. The most active extracts was fractionated using vacuum column chromatographic resulted 9 fractions  in which the fraction 7,

3, 4 and 6 showed the highest activity with IC50 values of 47,80 ; 67,99 ; 77,71 and 88,86 µg/mL. For comparison purposes with the ascorbic acid IC50  value 4,19 µg/mL. The result of phytochemical  screening  exhibited  that  th ethyl   acetate  extracts  contained  secondary metabolites such as flavonoids, saponins, steroids / triterpenoids and coumarins.

Abstract

Ilicifolius Acanthus Linn. is one derived from medicinal plants familia Acanthaceae are known to contain

flavonoids, but not yet known about the classes and types of flavonoid compounds contained in these plants. Based on this, then do research about ilicifolius Acanthus Linn., With the aim to know the classes and types of flavonoid compounds contained in these plants. Our research methods include the collection and provision of materials, phytochemical screening, the preliminary investigation of flavonoid, flavonoid isolation and identification of isolates using the method of ultraviolet-visible light. Results of phytochemical screening of crude drugs and known in the powder in n-butanol phase of methanol extracts of leaves contained daruju flavonoids, saponins, tannins, steroids and coumarins. The results of identification of flavonoid compounds suspected of classes and types are as follows flavonoidnya NB-III isolates suspected of flavonol compounds with hydroxyl group on the 3,5,7,8 positions and clusters prenil oxygenation in position 6. IV isolates suspected of flavonol compounds with hydroxyl group at positions 3, 5, 7, prenil group at position 6 and O -ring diOH B. NB-VI isolates suspected of flavanone compounds with hydroxyl group at position O-diOH in ring A and 6.7 o7.8 in OH.

Abstract

 

 

 

 

 

The leaves of Anredera cordifolia (Ten)Steenis is Indonesian herb that famous for  medicinal activity. Qualitatif phytochemical screening using standard laboratory procedure was carried out for flavonoid, saponine, steroid/triterpenoid and coumarine. Brine shrimp letha lity bioassay of methanol, n- hexane, ethyl acetate and n-butanol extracts of the leaves showed these extracts were moderately cytotoxic. The LC50  using Probit analysis method for methanol, n-hexane, ethyl acetate and n-butanol extracts were 50,77; 1481,84; 29,63; and 60,8 g/ml respectively. Based on the result, ethyl acetate extracts was fractionated by VLC using gradient elution with dichloromethane-isopropanol and methanol. Its combination  gave 10 fractions and it was screened by Brine shrimp Test. Six  of the ten fractions showed significant toxicity to the brine shrimp ( < 5 g/ml) which are the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 7th, 9th and

10th fraction.

This Study concluded that ethyl acetate extracts maybe contain bioactive compound of potential therapeutic.
