ABSTRACT 

 

Design of cooling tower for system cooling water of chiller water cooled designed to release heat at 2534.28 kWat water flow 414 m3/s and have performance cooling range 5.3 °C (9.5°F), Design the type of cooling tower use mechanical induced draft counterflow that working how to release heat from water to air with direct contact, and the air flowed by fan of cooling tower. In this case the tower use material  fill of splash, so from the calculation results 36 m2 space area needed and 4.2 m hight of the tower.

ABSTRACT

 

This thesisis  aboutthe calulation of designandthe optimization of solarcells utilizationassolarpower plantsthat will be installed onthe roof of the Water TreatmentPlant (WTP).The design ofthe roofinstallationis expected toproducethe most optimalpowerfromthe sunintensity absorbedbysolar panels.By optimizingseveral factorsit can be a determined some influences such as number of days(n), alight angle(ω) and atilt angle(β) to the sun intensity thatproduced.This designis fullfactorial method thatproducessome experiment resultsas referenceto achieve  themost optimal results.According to the experimental research observed during all year long, the most optimal isin Juneespecially when thesun'slight angleat20°positionanda tiltof the surface at 10°position with470.0918W/m²intensity. The sunintensity that most minimum producedfrom the calculation atAugustnamely when thesunhour angle at 15 °positionanda tiltof the surface at 30°position with445.1762W/m²intensity.

Abstract

 

Indonesian natural resource has richly endowed with potential environmental energy resources. Once of environmental energy resources with almost untapped is hydropower potential. This time Micro Hydropower Plant (MHP) technology, covered potential study, feasibility study, design, electrical-mechanical manufacturing, and construction have been handling by Indonesian people. The fact MHP in Indonesia is not yet developed as well as possible, because from many handicap seem investment resources, fewer participate of village community and negligible of investor for micro hydropower development. For that reason to increased micro hydropower energy develope and optimal utilization, at the first step is do micro hydropower business economical study, other side for show the benefit and advantage micro hydropower plant, as used electric for light or as energy resource for economic productive activity in village.The aim of this research is to compare analisys between calculation and software. The result of this comparation is found that hydrilic power on calculation is 250.1551 kW and software is 249.9 kW.

Profitabilitas, Likuiditas, Leverage, Ukuran Perusahaan dan Prediksi Peringkat Obligasi Pada Perusahaan Sektor Non Keuangan di Bursa Efek Indonesia
Abstrak

Obligasi merupakan salah satu sumber pendanaan penting bagi perusahaan. Perkembangan penerbitan obligasi di indonesia cukup pesat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh profitabilitas, likuiditas, leverage, dan ukuran perusahaan terhadap peringkat obligasi perusahaan non keuangan yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia 2008-2012. Peneliti menggunakan purposive sampling dan sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah 13 perusahaan non finansial. Teknik pengujian yang digunakan untuk menganalisis hipotesis hubungan antara variabel adalah regresi logistik ordinal. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa profitabilitas (ROA) tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap rating obligasi, likuiditas (CR) tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap rating obligasi, leverage (DER) tidak signifikan terhadap rating obligasi, dan ukuran berpengaruh signifikan terhadap rating obligasi.
