Relationship Between Knowledge Management Process Capabilities and Supply Chain Relations Quality

It believes that firms must extract maximum value from the knowledge they possess, acquire or create in order to compete and survive. In other hand, developing close relationship between suppliers and customers are well encouraged in the literature because relationships in supply chain have shown inspiring changes. Considering dimensions of Knowledge Management Process Capabilities (KMPC) and Supply Chain Relationship Quality (SCRQ) to present a conceptual model for KMPC and SCRQ is targeted in this paper. So, the effective factors of KMPC and SCRQ are well identified by 289 questionnaires, distributed among SAIPA’s suppliers. Factor analysis and structural equation modeling (SEM) are used to discover the relation between KMPC and SCRQ. Based on our results, “Knowledge conversion” and “Knowledge protection” are fairly most important dimensions of KMPC. Also based on our results, in the SCRQ, “Adaptation”, “Cooperation” and “Trust” are fairly most important dimensions. Finally, the results demonstrate a significant and positive relationship between them in the supply chain of SAIPA Company.

The accuracy of solid model and rapid prototype of prostheses in comparison to the digital CT image data

Prostheses are a derivative of biomedical products that have important things, which are: a design, size and bio compatible material. To produce optimum prostheses, safe and comfortable use, it would require design a model that fits the size of the patient's anatomy. In this paper describes the accuracy of solid model and rapid prototype of prostheses in comparison to the digital CT image data. Where the main parameters used as the reference measurement is digital CT image data. The data were analyzed using a statistical method to get the standard deviation of the comparison parameters of the data obtained, so that it can be known how the accuracy of the measurement results of each data.

Rancang Bangun Simulator Sistem Pengepakan Produk Berbasis Programmable Logic Control

Otomasi adalah teknologi yang terkait dengan aplikasi mesin, elektronik, sistem control dan komputer untuk dapat mengoperasikan dan mengendalikan proses produksi. Pada penerapannya, otomasi digunakan untuk mengurangi waktu proses manufaktur, kesalahan akibat operator dan penyimpanan. Salah satu bagian dari proses produksi adalah proses pengepakan yang merupakan rangkaian proses agar produk tersimpan dalam sebuah kemasan. Tulisan ini membahas rancang bangun simulator sistem pengepakan produk pada jalur produksi. Metode perancangan yang digunakan dalam rancang bangun ini adalah metode French. Perbandingan hasil waktu desain proses dan aktual proses, yaitu: 16,69 detik dan 18,01 detik. Terdapat perbedaan waktu sebesar 1,32 detik antara waktu desain proses dan waktu aktual proses. Perbedaan waktu tersebut dibandingkan terhadap delay yang ditetapkan pada program PLC, yaitu sebesar 1,5 detik. Tingkat keakurasian delay pada program sebesar 88% dan masih dalam kategori baik, sehingga bisa diaplikasikan pada simulator pengepakan ini.

Application of Six Sigma and AHP in analysis of variable lead time calibration process instrumentation

Calibration of instrumentation equipment in the pharmaceutical industry is an important activity to determine the true value of a measurement. Preliminary studies indicated that occur lead-time calibration resulted in disruption of production and laboratory activities. This study aimed to analyze the causes of lead-time calibration. Several methods used in this study such as, Six Sigma in order to determine the capability process of the calibration instrumentation of equipment. Furthermore, the method of brainstorming, Pareto diagrams, and Fishbone diagrams were used to identify and analyze the problems. Then, the method of Hierarchy Analytical Process (AHP) was used to create a hierarchical structure and prioritize problems. The results showed that the value of DPMO around 40769.23 which was equivalent to the level of sigma in calibration equipment approximately 3,24σ. This indicated the need for improvements in the calibration process. Furthermore, the determination of problem-solving strategies Lead Time Calibration such as, shortens the schedule preventive maintenance, increase the number of instrument Calibrators, and train personnel. Test results on the consistency of the whole matrix of pairwise comparisons and consistency test showed the value of hierarchy the CR below 0.1.

Design of Fatigue Monitoring Apparatus based on Critical Flicker Fusion Frequency

Fatigue is the phenomenon when alertness decreases gradually that potentially affect

work quality and safety. Though a number of research have been done to develop fatigue

monitoring apparatus, this phenomenon is still difficult to be detected in real time in industry.

Hence, there is a need for a portable and sensitive apparatus to monitor fatigue. The purpose of this

study is to develop an ergonomic design of a portable flicker test apparatus based on Critical Flicker

Fusion Frequency (CFFF). Product concept was developed using a proposed framework, namely

human factors system design framework. The proposed framework was based on user needs, user

characteristics, and user functional allocations. A prototype was build and a usability testing was

finally conducted.
