Intelligent Recommender Pada Sistem E-Learning Menggunakan Semantic Web
Abstrak

E-learning sudah menjadi kebutuhan utama di dunia pendidikan saat ini.  Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan makin banyaknya institusi pendidikan yang menggunakannya. Namun sistem e-learning yang banyak dipakai saat ini merupakan sistem yang pasif.  Pasif dalam hal ini berarti system tidak dapat mengetahui kebutuhan masing-masing pengguna atau dengan kata lain sitem tidak dapat melakukan personalisasi. Supaya sistem e-learning bisa lebih bermanfaat bagi pengguna, system seharusnya bisa melakukan personalisasi terhadap masing-masing penggunanya. Salah satu bentuk personalisasi dalam system e-learning cerdas adalah kemampuan untuk merekomendasikan artikel yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan tiap-tiap pengguna.  Fitur semacam ini disebut dengan recommender. Selama ini recommender pada sistem e-

learning masih menggunakan teknik pengambilan berdasar isi (content-based approach).  Teknik ini akan menghasilkan banyak artikel yang tidak relevan dengan yang dibutuhkan oleh pengguna. Oleh karena itu dibutuhkan sebuah teknik baru untuk mengambil artikel dari internet.  Berdasarkan masalah di atas maka penulis mengusulkan untuk membuat intelligent recommender menggunakan semantic web supaya bisa menyeleksi artikel yang akan direkomendasikan dengan lebih baik.

Perancangan Rotary Index Table Berbasis Pengendali Logika Terprogram
Abstrak

Dalam industri minuman ringan, peran rotary index table cukup penting terutama untuk otomatisasi. Pada tulisan ini rotary yang dirancang terdapat 3 proses, yaitu  pemeriksaan botol, pengisian botol, penutupan botol. Keseluruhan urutan kerja dari rotary index table dikendalikan oleh PLC. Dari hasil ujicoba sistem untuk botol berukuran 200 cc, untuk 6 botol dengan jarak anteran 15 cm, antrean  berjalan dengan baik, selesai dalam waktu 30 detik, dan untuk 1 kali proses membutuhkan waktu rata-rata 50 detik.

Title: Evaluation of Type C Hospital Formularies in Yogyakarta

Problem Statement: Many pharmaceutical products on the market are new and nonessential drugs. Appropriate selection is needed to support rational use of drugs. Establishing and maintaining a good hospital formulary is one way to increase drug selection efficiency.

Objectives: To evaluate and compare the quality of 7 hospital formularies in Yogyakarta, and to determine the processes used to maintain the formulary in each hospital.

Indicators: Number of brand-name products, % of essential drugs, % generic drugs on the list,  % drugs supported by the primary literature, % drugs with a single ingredient, and % generic drugs kept in stock.

Design: Descriptive-analytical, explorative case study.

Setting and Population: 5 public hospitals and 2 private hospitals in Yogyakarta.

Method: Seven hospital formularies were evaluated.  Quantitative data included: the number of drugs on the list, number of brand name drugs, number of generic drugs, number of essential drugs, and number of drugs supported by primary literature.  At the time of inspection, the following data were collected: number of generic drugs available, and the number of non-formulary drugs. A Chi-square test was applied to see if there was any difference between public and private hospitals. Information on the process of maintaining a formulary was obtained from qualitative data, including in-depth interviews with Drug and Therapeutic Committee (DTC) members and representative doctors from 4 wards (Obstetrics and Gynecology, Pediatrics, Surgery, and Internal Medicine). Qualitative data were analyzed by content analysis.

Outcome Measures: The quality of a formulary was measured by the number of brand-name products listed, % of essential drugs listed, % generic drugs on the list,  % drugs supported by the primary literature, % drugs with a single ingredient, and % generic drugs kept in stock. The process of maintaining a formulary was measured by frequency of revision, % of nonformulary drugs, and observation of DTC meetings.

Results: Although no hospital showed an ideal formulary list, the quality of public hospital formularies was relatively better than that of private hospital formularies. The comparison of public vs private hospitals, as shown by the indicators, were respectively as follows: the number of brand-name drugs (296–532 vs. 513–1575); percentage of essential drugs (41–71% vs. 20–28%); percentage of generic drugs on the list (26–50% vs 17–18%); percentage of drugs supported by the primary literature (73–90% vs. 67-73%); percentage of drugs with a single ingredient (41–71% vs. 20–28%); and percentage of generic drugs kept in stock (26–48% vs 13–16%).The consistent differences between public and private hospitals were significant (P= 0.00). The percentage of nonformulary-drugs procured and nonformulary drugs kept in stock were lower in hospitals that had frequent formulary revisions and established policies on formulary revision. Aschedule of regular meetings for formulary management was not yet established. In both public and private hospitals, the DTC tended to accommodate the doctors’ requests.

Conclusions: The quality of formularies in public hospitals was better than in private hospitals, but both were found not yet satisfactory. The process for maintaining a hospital formulary has not yet been established at the hospitals studied.

Uji Aktivitas Antioksidan Minyak Buah Merah (Pandanus conoideus LAM.) secara In Vitro dan In Vivo pada Tikus yang diberi Beban aktivitas Fisik maksimal

UJI AKTIVITAS ANTIOKSIDAN MINYAK BUAH MERAH (Pandanus conoideus LAM.) SECARA in Vitro DAN In Vivo PADA TIKUS YANG DIBERI BEBAN AKTIVITAS FISIK MAKSIMAL

Abstract

 

Increasing oxygen consumption during intensive physical exercise may increase production of free radicals, and if it exceeds physiological capicity may cause oxidative stress as shown as chance of MDA level. Buah merah oil contains high betacarotene and tocopherol, as well as fatty acid such as oleic acid, linoleic acid, linolenic acid and decanoic acid. Tocopherol is major biological lipid-soluble antioxidant, protecting structures and function of cell membranes cause by free radical. The objective of the study was to know antioxidant activity in vitro and the effect of buah merah oil to MDA level in blood during maximum physical activity treatment. Antioxidant activity in vitro test was conducted using DPPH methode (2,2-diphenyl-1-picryl hydrazyl). Antioxidant activity in vivo test was done using 24 male Wistar rats in pre - post test control group design. The rats were grouped into 4 group. The control group was given destilated water and three treatment groups were given buah merah oil in the dose of 0,15 ml/kgBW; 0,3 ml/kgBW; 0,6 ml/kgBW for 10 days. Before buah merah oil was given, level of MDA was measured. Ten days later, the four group were given maximum physical activity mean of swimming until the sign of fatigue occurred (nearly drowned) and the blood was taken for blood MDA examination. In vitro, IC50 buah merah oil was 451,51 μg/ml. In vivo test, dosage 0,15 ml/kgBW could decrease MDA 5,22% Dosage 0,3 ml/kgBW could decrease MDA 11,96% and dosage 0,6 ml/kgBW could decrease MDA 8,19% . Buah merah oil showed antioxidant activity in vitro. In vivo experiment, all dosage of buah merah oil decreased blood MDA level but in the dose of 0,3 ml/kgBW decreased MDA level more than dose of 0,15 ml/kgBW and 0,6 ml/kgBW.

PENENTUAN JUMLAH FLAVONOID TOTAL EKSTRAK ETANOL DAUN BUAH MERAH (PANDANUS CONOIDEUS LAMK.) SECARA KOLORIMETRI KOMPLEMENTER
Abstrak

Secara empiris daun buah merah (Pandanus conoideus Lamk.) sangat berpotensi untuk dijadikan sediaan obat tradisional. Untuk itu perlu dikembangkan  metode standardisasi sediaan obat tradisional, salah satunya adalah dengan penetapan kadar salah satu kandungan senyawa marker. Dari penelitian sebelumnya diketahui bahwa daun buah merah (Pandanus conoideus Lamk.) memiliki kandungan senyawa flavonoid sehingga dapat dilakukan penentuan jumlah flavonoid total ekstrak etanol daun buah merah (Pandanus conoideus Lamk.) secara kolorimetri komplementer. Penentuan jumlah flavonoid total dilakukan dengan menjumlahkan kadar flavonoid yang ditentukan menggunakan dua metode yaitu metode alumunium klorida untuk menentukan golongan flavon dan flavonol dan metode 2,4dinitrofenilhidrazin untuk menentukan golongan flavanon dan flavanonol.

            Dari hasil penelitian didapatkan jumlah flavanon dan flavanonol lebih tinggi daripada flavonol dan flavon dengan jumlah flavonoid total 0,99±0,01 % b/b.
