ABSTRAK

 

Kurkumin   adala sala satu   anggota   kelompok   senyawa   kurkuminoid   dan merupakan senyawa penciri (marker) pada tanaman suku zingiberaceae. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui kadar kurkumin dalam ekstrak etanol secara Kromatografi Lapis Tipis (KLT) -Densitometri dan   aktivitas antioksidan ekstrak etanol dari rimpang temu putih, temu mangga dan temu lawak terhadap 1,1-difenil-2- pikrilhidrazil (DPPH). Hasil penapisan fitokimia  serbuk rimpang simplisia diperoleh pada rimpamg temu putih, temu mangga, temu lawak terdapat golongan senyawa flavonoid, saponin, terpenoid, minyak atsiri. Kadar kurkumin pada ekstrak etanol rimpang temu putih sebesar 0,10%, temu mangga sebesar 0,19% dan temu lawak sebesar  0,51%.  Hasil  uji  aktivitas  antioksidan  dengan  metode  metode  DPPH diperoleh nilai IC50 dari ekstrak etanol rimpang temu mangga sebesar 233,18 g/mL, temu putih sebesar 99,19 g/mL,  temu lawak sebesar 31,57 g/mL dan vitamin C sebaga kontrol   positif   sebesa 4,84   g/mL Kada kurkumin   da aktivitas antioksidan  terhadaDPPH paling tinggi  diperoleh  pada ekstrak  etanol  rimpang temu lawak.

Abstract

 

Binahong (Anredera cordifolia (Ten.) Steenis) is one of the plant which is use generally for treatment of illness but no more research that explain about its chemical compound and efficacy. In this research had been done isolation and identification of adenin in ethylacetate phase from methanol extract of that binahongs leaves. Isolation doing by thin layer chromatography (TLC), was fractionated by vaccum liquid chromatography (VLC) using CH2CL2, isopropanol and methanol of increasing polarity as eluents , and column chromatography (CC). Isolate was purified by HPLC preparative.

The chemical structure of isolate was identified by UV-Vis spectrophotometre, IR spectrophotometer, GC-MS, 1H NMR and 13C NMR. The result of datas analyses from UV-Vis, IR, GC-MS and NMR spectrum showed that isolate which had been identified adenin.

ABSTRACT

 

Clove (Eugenia aromatic. OK ) is a tropical plant that come from Maluku. Clove oil contain volatile oil that usually obtained from flowers by the distillation method, but there are some literatures mentioned clove leaves also contain volatile oil. Based on this, research was conducted to determine the content of eugenol in volatile oil of clove leaf and flower. Determination of eugenol by TLC-Densitometry showed that, eugenol content in clove volatile oil from flower 82.49% and from leaf 79.03%.

ABSTRACT:

 

Binahong (Anredera cordifolia (Ten.) Steenis) is one of the plant which is use generally for treatment of illness but no more research that explain about its chemical compound and efficacy. In this research had been done phytochemical screening, isolation and identification of chemical compound in n-heksana phase from methanol extract of that binahongs leaves. Isolation doing by thin layer chromatography (TLC), vaccum liquid chromatography (VLC) and column chromatography (CC). Isolate was purified by TLC preparation and then two dimension TLC by using two eluens that has different polarity to know whether that isolate still had one spot at TLC plate. The chemical structure of isolate was identified by UV-Vis spectrophotometre, IR spectrophotometer, GC-MS. The result of phythochemical screening contains steroid, triterpenoid and volatile oil. The result of datas analyses from UV-Vis, IR and GC-MS spectrum showed that isolate which had been identified given maxsimum absorbance at 230 nm has functional groups such as O-H, C-H, C-C, C=C and C-O with molecural weight 281. Based on data base Willey275.L assumed that chemical compound from n-heksana phase is 4-terpineol with 97% similarities.
